Iraqi Fencing Federation Opens Biggest Training School in Baghdad
The Iraqi Fencing Federation has announced the opening of its biggest training school, located in Baghdad.
Secretary of the federation Ziad Hassan said four training centers in Baghdad were selected to receive training from the school. They are Sadr city, Rusafa
al-Uola, Rusafa al-Thaniya and Karkh.
The popularity of the school is unprecedented, said Hassan, adding that more than 75 players signed up to participate.
The school will receive as many players as it can to be tested and choose the most prominent among them to participate in future competitions, he said.
The federation also appointed five senior instructors to mentor the students. They are Hassan Majid, Raad Qasim, Haider Nasir, Ali Mouhammad and Haider Mouhammad.
