Kurdistan will play Provence in the semi-finals of the fifth edition of the VIVA World Cup that is being held in Erbil, the capital of the semi-autonomous Kurdistan Region.
Kurdistan is one step closer to the cup after two victories in the group matches against Western Sahara 6-0 and Occitana 1-0. It is now the main nominee to win the title.
The semi-finals matches are set to be held in Kurdistan Region’s third largest city, Duhok, on Friday. The runners-up in the semi-finals include Kurdistan, Provence, Zanzibar and Northern Cyprus.
