Four HIV Cases Found in Kurdistan

This year, four HIV cases have been recorded in Kurdistan Region, two of whom were foreigners who have been deported back to their country.
The spokesperson of the KRG's Ministry of Health, Khales Qadir, said the two Iraqis are now under treatment and doctor's supervision.
The male and female are between 25 and 30 years of age, and one of HIV positive individuals is married.
According to Health Ministry statistics, 106 cases of HIV has been recorded in Kurdistan since 1986.
20 of the cases were individuals who came from Kurdistan Region.
