Nurses to Benefit from Danger Pay, Administrative Posts

The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) has decided to enroll nurses across the region for danger pay allowances and to allow for them to run administrative posts.
The news was announced today by Erbil Health Director Maghdid Khidir in a press conference.
The decisions were taken after a considerable number of nurses submitted some demands to the KRG and warned they will stage a strike if the demands are not met.
The official did not comment on the details about the amount of the allowance.
As for the posts, Khidir said nurses will be allowed to take over any related post as deputy director or any other post.
Today concurrently with holding the press conference Erbil Health Directorate celebrated World Day of Nurses and honored 50 nurses.
