Police forces on Thursday captured seven militants of Shiite cleric Muqatada al-Sadr suspected of masterminding armed operations in Babel, a security source said.
"Police raided houses of seven militants of Al-Sadr's Mahdi militia suspected to be commanders of groups that attacked security forces during the clashes that have erupted since Monday in the province", a Scorpion brigade source, who requested anonmity, told Aswat al-Iraq-Voices of Iraq(VOI).
