ISX index down by 0.05%

Iraq's Stock Exchange (ISX) index dropped by 0.05 percent to settle at 37.350 points at the closing of Thursday's session, the third this month.

Traded shares in Thursday's session exceeded 787 million at a total value of 1,162 million Iraqi dinars (1 U.S. dollar= 1,222 Iraqi dinars) by implementing 181 contracts. Non-Iraqi investors participated by implementing 31 contracts.

According to the daily analysis of the capital market, the banking sector's index, in which 14 companies traded, closed at 37.650 points, with seven companies maintaining their previous price. In the industrial sector, in which 10 companies traded, one index went up, another dropped and eight indexes maintained their previous price.
