15 Killed, 25 Injured in Mosul Blast

The al-Jumhuri Public Hospital in Mosul on Monday received 15 people killed and 25 others injured in casualties left by an earlier blast in the western part of the city, a medic said.
Earlier in the day, a security source said a blast, probably a car bomb, took place in the New Mosul area, located in the western part of the city, leaving an unidentified number of people killed or wounded.
Mosul, the capital city of Ninewa province, lies 405 km north of Baghdad.
